A growing body of evidence suggests that families and couples who sweat together really do stay together. In fact, working out together can:
Increase your happiness with your relationship. Loved ones who exercise together report feeling more satisfied with their relationships. The surge of endorphins released when exercising get transferred over to your relationship.
Heighten your focus and improve quality of your workouts. Social psychologists have proven that people who workout in the presence of their partners perform better. We are wired to attempt to be the best version of ourselves in front of one another.
Keep you on track. Workout buddies help to push and challenge you. It’s easier to stay on track when someone else is counting on you.

Build stronger bonds. The more time we spend together, the closer and more familiar we become with one another. Exercising together is a great way to have fun, be productive and strengthen your relationship.
Make working out more fun! Exercising with a partner is not only a great way to spend quality time together, but is is also a lot more fun when you have a partner in crime. You may even be more likely to workout for a longer period of time.
Family Fun Overall Body Workout:
1. Squat Ball Passes
Get in a Sumo Squat position with your feet pointed slightly outwards and sit down deep. Pass the ball back and forth to your body, holding in the down position.
2. Lunge Ball Passes
Face your buddy and lunge on your right foot as you pass the ball. When you come back up, alternate legs.
3. Oblique Twists
Standing Face back to back with your partner and move only at the waist, passing the ball in front of your body and then in the back of you.

4. Ball Sit-Ups
With your feet locked together and knees bent, start in the sit-up position and slowly come up together passing the ball on the upwards movement. The buddy with the ball should complete the sit-up, then pass the ball again in the up position.
5. Oblique Twists Sitting
Sit back to back with your partner crossing one leg over the other. Pass the ball in front of your body and then in the back of you. Switch legs and repeat.

I love the idea of combining family time with fitness—it’s such a win-win! I actually tried some partner exercises before, but seeing these specific moves makes me want to give it another shot. It reminds me of something I read on Crazy Cattle 3D about creating fun, shared experiences. Definitely bookmarking this for my next family workout session!
Read "Fit Is A Family Affair" a moment ago, and it gave me a useful reminder to stay intentional. I will revisit this post again. key repeat test
