Makes 2 smoothies
INGREDIENTS
1 cup roasted sweet potato
1 cup frozen ripe banana
1 tbsp almond butter (optional)
¼ tsp ground turmeric
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
METHOD
To Roast Sweet Potato
• Heat oven to 425°F.
• Chop sweet potato into cubes and place on a baking sheet
• Drizzle with olive oil
• Roast in the oven until soft, approximately 35 minutes
For the Smoothie
• Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth. Add ice for extra thickness.
• Serve in a glass and enjoy!
